Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you purchase or use the Vow View product.

1. Who we are

The seller and data controller is Kaimana Honda, trading as Vow View, a sole proprietor based in California, United States. Contact us at officialvowview@gmail.com.

2. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data only where we have a valid legal basis: performance of our contract with you (creating your account and giving you access to the product), compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting records), our legitimate interests (fraud prevention, security, and improving the product), and your consent (optional advertising cookies, which you can withdraw at any time).

3. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to deliver the product: your email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), your purchase record, the wedding planning information you choose to enter, any messages you send to the wedding assistant, and support emails. We do not ask for your phone number, postal address, or date of birth. Card details are never seen or stored by us — they are collected and processed by Paddle.

4. How we use your information

To create and secure your account, unlock the product you paid for, save your planner across your devices, answer your questions in the wedding assistant, respond to support requests, and send essential service emails such as confirmations and password resets. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product: Paddle (payments, tax, Merchant of Record), our hosting and database provider, and the AI provider that generates wedding assistant replies (your question and planner context are sent to generate an answer; they are not used to identify you). With your consent, page and purchase events are shared with Meta for advertising measurement. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may disclose information where required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and planner data for as long as your account exists. Purchase and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires (typically seven years). If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your planner data and assistant history and keep only the minimum purchase record required for accounting.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with row-level access rules so that only your account can read your planner. Your download files are served through short-lived private links. No system is perfectly secure, but we use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. If you are in California, you may exercise your rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To make a request, email officialvowview@gmail.com — we reply within 30 days and will never charge you for it.

9. Children

The product is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. International transfers

Our providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Where required, our providers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers out of the EEA and UK.

If we change this notice we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the product.
